I thought more people were going to call me crazy for starting a business, yet at nearly every occasion it’s “congrats!” or “it’s about time!” Renegade Energy was born to offer a breadth and depth of services culled from varied and unique experience. There’s a need in our area for independent and comprehensive business efficiency services driven by the numbers, and as Liam Neeson’s character Bryan Mills says in the movie Taken “…what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career.”
Partnering with each business as a facility advisor, we will look for the best value approach to cut operating costs, improve comfort and consequently help the environment a little in the process. Since I do not represent any particular brand or supplier, we have the flexibility to select the right solutions and achieve the most competitive prices. With no equipment sales quotas to hit, we take the long view of what’s best for each client 10, 20 or many years from now. (Hint: it’s usually not “let’s replace everything.”)
Enough of the sales pitch…here’s what to expect from this blog and our other social media platforms. About every month, we’ll post thoughts on the energy industry, performance contracting or perhaps a boiled-down, plain language explanation of how certain things work and, in each case, we’ll relate how it can affect your business. If you’ve got a topic in mind, let me know. Look to the Facebook and Twitter accounts for new incentives, programs, project milestones and maybe a few site inspection ‘horror’ pics (no names of course). And, we’ll finish each post with a gem of wisdom from those who came before.
For now, I’m going to get back to it.
